Partners in Development Foundation Tūtū and Me Traveling preschool program held its first ever Hoolaulea on Thursday August 24, 2006. All of our families from our 6 Oahu Tūtū and Me sites came together, in Waimanalo. The purpose for the event was twofold: 1) to thank our families for their commitment to the Tūtū and Me program and to their keiki and 'ohana, and 2) to celebrate Tūtū and Me's 5th birthday. It was October 1, 2001, when Partners in Development Foundation received notification that the Tūtū and Me Traveling preschool program would be funded. The program started out in two communities, Haleiwa and Pauoa. And…who would've thought that in 5 years time we would have the privilege of serving over 2,000 keiki and their caregiver(s) in 16 communities statewide.
Partners in Development Foundation would like to thank all our families who attended and the following organizations and individuals for their participation in this event.
